Direct Flights Between Ljubljana and Dubai Expected Within 6 to 12 Months

The website notes that Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport has been trying to set up direct flights to the Middle East for a number of years, with Etihad Airways, Emirates and Air Arabia all having been involved in previous discussions that eventually came to nothing. However, the current talks are expected to be more fruitful, as Flydubai has already committed to operating a number of routes in the region, with flights, some seasonal and others year-round, currently connecting Dubai and Belgrade, Skopje, Sarajevo, Tivat, Podgorica and Dubrovnik.
