STA, 31 May 2018 - Revoz, the Slovenian assembly plant of France's car producer Renault, celebrated on Wednesday the production of the four millionth Renault car it has assembled since Renault first started working with the Slovenian car factory in 1972.

STA, 30 May 2018 - The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has upgraded its GDP growth forecast for Slovenia for this year to 5% from 4.3% in last November, while urging Slovenia to make progress in securing fiscal sustainability and implement structural reforms. 

STA, 30 May 2018 - Slovenia is not happy with the situation on the Balkan migration route and the large number of migrants crossing the EU's external border. Countries in the region as well as the EU Commission and Frontex will have to do more, Interior Ministry State Secretary Boštjan Šefic told the STA. 

STA, 28 May 2018 - A police investigation in the suspected corruption surrounding the EUR 1.4bn upgrade of the Šoštanj coal-fired power station (TEŠ) has revealed that the generator no. 6 was overpaid by as much as half a billion euro, commercial broadcaster POP TV reported. Unofficially, this information will be used to reinforce the case against those responsible.

STA, 29 May 2018 - Slovenia would get EUR 3.07bn in cohesion funds in the next multi-year EU budget, from 2012 to 2027, according to blueprints presented by the European Commission on Tuesday.

STA, 29 May 2018 - The archaeological excavations at Gosposvetska Street in Ljubljana have turned the assumptions about what the area was in the Roman times upside down. While it was assumed that a road leading to the ancient Emona was located there, archaeologists have now found the remains of impressive cemetery architecture. 

STA, 29 May 2018 - The company Hisense Luxembourg Home Appliance of the Chinese group Hisense published a takeover bid on Tuesday for the household appliances maker Gorenje. It is offering 12 euro per share for the 67% of the company it does not already own.
