STA, 21 July 2018 - Addressing the annual jamboree of the Democratic Party (SDS) on Saturday, SDS head Janez Janša said the party wants to form a stable and effective government capable of working for the benefit of the entire country. If this is not possible, the SDS feels another early election is the best option.
STA, 21 July 2018- US Ambassador to Slovenia Brent Hartley, whose three-year term in Slovenia has ended, described US-Slovenia relations for the newspaper Večer as strong and active. He emphasised the US is the second biggest investor in Slovenia, labelled Slovenia's relations with Russia as entirely appropriate and the border arbitration as a bilateral issue.
