Postal services
"Post operator importing postmen from Serbia and Bosnia": It appears that Pošta Slovenije, the national post operator, has major staffing issues and has cancelled everyday mail delivery in some places due to a lack of postmen and due to sick leaves. (front page, 3)
EU defence
"Europe in hurry to speed up army movements": The EU is trying to increase and facilitate the mobility of military groups around the continent. To achieve this, the bloc will have to take into account the military's infrastructural and defence needs. (front page, 4)
Media takeover
"Unofficial: Pro Plus takeover given green light": Unofficially, the Competition Protection Agency gave the green light to US media company United Group to take over Pro Plus, the owner of Slovenia's most popular commercial TV stations POP TV and Kanal A. The agency has proposed certain measures to address competition issues, as the US company already owns Telemach, Slovenia's biggest cable operator. (front page)

"Coalition in dilemma whether to expel Russian diplomats": The government will decide today whether Slovenia should join EU countries which have decided to expel Russian diplomats after the Salisbury attack. Junior coalition SocDems and the Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) are opposed to the idea of expulsion, while the ruling Modern Centre Party (SMC) allows for the possibility. (front page, 6)

"Real-estate development of Ljubljana Public Holding boss a hit": The boss of Ljubljana Public Holding, Zdenka Grozde, has a stake in Sredina, a company planning to build a new hotel in Ljubljana's city centre. The city will help the project by amending the zoning plan. (front page, 9)
FINANCE
Bankruptcy estate of Slovenia's biggest builder
"Fight for last SCT money - will it go to Zidar's former concrete plant or to workers?": The receivership of SCT, once Slovenia's biggest builder, has been under way for seven years, but it remains unclear whose claims are justified after TAČ, an asphalt maker, went to court over the plan to repay EUR 2.8m in priority claims to workers and the state. (front page, 4, 5)

"Why are electric cars today dirtier than diesel and petrol cars?": Environmental impact of electric cars will be similar to that of petrol and diesel cars as long as electricity is produced from non-renewable sources, shows an analysis by the German automotive club ADAC. (front page, 13)
Tech stocks
"Wind is changing for tech giants": Investors are becoming merciless when it comes to tech giants, which have lost several Slovenian GDP's worth of market value in two weeks. The FANG index of most popular tech stocks in the market has lost 14% over the past 15 days. (front page, 2, 3)

"To expel or not to expel": Slovenia will maybe decide today whether to expel a Russian diplomat or not, while the number of countries who have decided to do so in the aftermath of the Salisbury attack continues to rise. (front page, 2, 3)
Road safety in Maribor
"Attention, frogs on road": More than 1,500 frogs cross a road through the Maribor city park, and around 15% die during the crossing. Volunteers have thus decided to put up a fence to prevent them form reaching the road, while biology students safely bring them to a nearby pond in the night. (front page, 11)
Maribor
"Fištravec gives jobs to 43 people in his office": An analysis conducted by the paper shows that 43 people have been employed in the office of Andrej Fištravec, the mayor of Maribor, during his term. 17 of them have left the municipality, seven were transferred, eight got their fixed-term jobs promoted into open-end jobs, ten have been promoted and two have been demoted. (front page, 8, 9)
