Staffing
"Jazbec's path to Brussels expected to be smooth": The appointment procedure for Boštjan Jazbec, the governor of Slovenia's central bank, to a post at the Single Resolution Board continues today at the European Parliament. (front page, 3)

Slovenia's appearance at Frankfurt Book Fair
"Big opportunity for small country": Slovenia signed a contract yesterday to become the guest of honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2022, the world's largest trade fair for books, in what was praised as a unique opportunity for culture as well as business, especially publishing and tourism. (front page, 18)

Slovenian hockey team at the Olympics
"Doping and defeat instead of quarter-finals": Fans of the Slovenian hockey team suffered two blows yesterday - first came the news that Žiga Jeglič, a member of the Slovenian national hockey team, failed a doping test, and then the team lost a match against Norway. (front page, 21-22)
