Starting today Slovenian Railways will operate according to the new train schedule.
Notable changes include the following lines:
Ormož – Ptuj – Maribor: several trains will not stop at Pragersko, which will shorten the travel time by 15 minutes.
Dobova – Beljak (Villach, AUT): the international train which arrives in Ljubljana at 7:27 now has on its arrival at Jesenice an immediate connection with a local train to Bohinjska Bistrica, Most na Soči and Nova Gorica.
Maribor – Prevalje the afternoon train route will be extended to Pliberk (Bleiburg, AUT).
Maribor – Pliberk (Bleiburg, AUT) will operate three times a day on weekdays and twice a day on Saturdays, where passengers can change to local trains for Celovec (Klagenfurt, AUT).
Vinkovci (CRO) – Beljak (Villach, AUT): from now on train also stops at Brežice and Krško.
Ljubljana – Beograd (Belgrade, SRB): in addition to a daily morning train, a night train (with sleeping cars) will operate the route in the holiday season, which is between December 10 and January 14, and from June 24 to September 17, 2018.
