STA, 22 August 2018 - Below is a review of the headlines in Slovenian dailies for Wednesday, 22 August 2018:

Kindergartens
"Slovenian kindergartens too tight for the youngest ones": Around 700 children eligible for kindergarten as of September will have to be taken elsewhere for daily care due to a shortage of room in Slovenian kindergartens, according to data from the relevant ministry. (front page, 4)

Hacking attacks
"Microsoft: Russian hackers conspiring again": Microsoft has accused the Russian intelligence service of attacking the websites of the US Senate and conservative think-tanks which do not support President Donald Trump. (front page, 7)

Reconstruction of Ljubljana streets
"Slovenska will be closed from Kozolec to Konzorcij": The section of the Slovenska Cesta thoroughfare in the centre of Ljubljana from Dvorakova to Šubičeva streets will be closed for three days for repair works. (front page)
