The annual allowance, which is similar to the holiday allowance paid to the working population, will be paid to almost 605,000 beneficiaries at the combined cost of almost EUR 120m.
The beneficiaries include almost 590,000 old-age pensioners and almost 15,700 disability pension recipients, according to data from the Pension and Disability Insurance Institute (ZPIZ).
The highest allowance will be paid to the pensioners with the lowest pensions (up to EUR 450), and the lowest to those receiving EUR 780 or more.
Those receiving disability pensions will get allowances of between 100 and 210 euro.
This is the second year in a row since restrictions were implemented in 2012 that the annual allowance will be paid to all pensioners.
