Migrations
"If the state pays for the wire, so it should for funerals": After four migrant deaths in the border river Kolpa last month, the question arose who should pay for the funerals; the state or the relevant local community. (front page, pages 2, 3)

Gaza killings
"No place for snipers at protests": It is totally unacceptable that the Israeli government sent snipers to the Gaza border, where their life is not in danger, Delo was told by Yehuda Shaul, founder of Breaking the Silence, a movement bringing together Israeli ex-soldiers. (front page, page 6)

Giro d'Italia
"Having predicted, he won 10th stage of the Giro": Matej Mohorič won the 10th stage of the Tour of Italy yesterday having told Delo before the race that the stage was his opportunity. (front page, page 20)

Iran nuclear deal
"Iranian foreign minister seeks European support to preserve nuclear programme agreement": Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif met the EU's foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini in Brussels yesterday for talks aimed at preserving the international agreement on the Iranian nuclear programme. University
"Chancellors: Law violates university autonomy": The chancellors of Slovenian universities have proposed taking the higher education act to the Constitutional Court because they believe it violates university autonomy. (front page, page 4)

FINANCE

Taxes
"State to charge higher VAT on food supplements. Without changing regulations": The VAT on most food supplements has been raised to 22% from 9.5% according to internal instructions at the Financial Administration which have been valid since 1 May. (front page, pages 2, 3)

Bidding for Tuš debt
"Will banks sell claims to Deutsche Bank and Alfi?": Slovenian investment fund Alfi has confirmed having submitted a bid to buy the debt of retailing group Tuš as a minority partner of Deutsche Bank. (front page, page 5)

Delavska Hranilnica bank
"What's behind new recapitalisation?": The bank Delavska Hranilnica has been recapitalised again. Of the EUR 4.2m worth of fresh shares, EUR 3.6m were paid in by Fleetman, a firm owned by former car racer Mataž Tomlje. This is now the second largest owner. (front page, page 4)
