"Slovenia grows, but is close-fisted on children": While priding itself on a strong economic growth, the government is sticking to austerity also when it comes to birth-rate boosting measures. (front page, page 2)
Syria crisis
"Syria crisis may affect Slovenia": The talk of a missile attack on Syria has pushed up oil prices and the euro, while pushing down the rouble. All these is bad news for Slovenia's exports. (front page, pages 5, 6 and 9)
Montenegro presidential election
"For and against in Montenegro": Opinion polls ahead of the presidential election in Montenegro suggest that Milo Đukanović will win an outright majority in the first round on Sunday. (front page, page 7)

"Police put the brakes on chase for speeding drivers": Section speed controls on motorways have been suspended until further notice, because the police would have too much paperwork prosecuting an extra 30,000 offenders a year.
