Fans of the left end of the dial or Wire magazine have something to celebrate next week, with the return of the annual MENT festival, now it it’s fourth edition, and in town from January 31 to February 2.
Once again, this brings together performers, promoters, producers journalists and others involved in the music industry, including, of course, fans of live music, who have over 60 solo artists and bands to see over three days. While these run the whole gamut of sound, they lean towards to the self-consciously interesting and arty.
