The registration period for undergraduate and master’s programs will continue till August 17. In the first application period Slovenian Universities received 14,704 applications for 17,399 openings. A total of 11,119 candidates were accepted and can now register for the programs they have chosen.
The second application period will take place between August 22 – 29, while the study programs still available to the prospective students will be published on August 21 on the eVŠ portal.

Apart from these, students and vocational school participants can also apply for the private scholarships Slovenian companies give to their future staff. A list of these companies has been compiled by the newspaper Delo, in an article titled “Demand for personnel scholarships lower than companies would wish for”.
It should be noted that as present there is no public website with regard to these scholarships, something that might help in raising the number of applications.
