The next opportunity to turn your graphomania into a career comes Wednesday, 9 May, from 18:00 to 20:00, when the prolific Dr Noah Charney, art historian and Slovenologist, will be teaching a free workshop at a monastery near his adoptive home, the Mekinje Samostan. The event will be on how to get books published, and specifically on the art of writing non-fiction book proposals that sell.

Everyone is welcome to attend, but if interested send a Facebook message to the man himself to ensure adequate seating arrangements and so on. No materials are needed on the day, and although the workshop will be in English it’s intended to be fully accessible to non-native speakers.
As a side note and service, all budding authors who’d like to try writing for publication ahead of working on a more significant tome are welcome to send their texts to This email address is being protected from spambots.
