We’ve written before about Ljubljana’s Urbana card and how it unlocks a whole host of city services, but what if you’re just a short-term visitor, and want some of the same but more? In that case you’ll need an Urbana - Ljubljana Tourist Card.
There are three versions of the card, valid for 24, 48 and 72 hours, all of which offer the same benefits for different periods of time, and are available for 23, 30 and 35 EUR, respectively.
These benefits include:
Free travel on city buses, the funicular to the Castle, tourist road train, tourist boat, and bicycles.
Free entry to most of the public cultural institutions: National Gallery (Narodna galerija), International Centre of Graphic Arts (Mednarodni grafični likovni center), City Art Museum (Mestna galerija), Museum of Modern Art (Moderna galerija), Plečnik House (Plečnikova hiša), Slovene Ethnographic Museum (Slovenski etnografski muzej), City Museum of Ljubljana (Mestni muzej Ljubljana), Jakopič Gallery (Galerija Jakopič), National Museum of Slovenia (Narodni muzej Slovenije), National Museum of Contemporary History (Muzej novejše zgodovine Slovenije), Slovenian Museum of Natural History (Prirodoslovni muzej Slovenije), Technical Museum of Slovenia (Tehniški muzej Slovenije), and the Railway Museum (Železniški muzej).

Free use of various services provided by Ljubljana Tourism: a guided city tour of cardholder's choice, digital tour guide hire, internet access.
You can pick up a card at any of the Tourist Information Centres in town and a number of hotels – just ask at the front desk for more information.
