While it’s true there are still many beautiful images of the snow being captured from around the country, we feel it’s time to put such scenes behind us and move forward with the year, into the sunshine, warmth and new life. This week’s photo thus comes from Neža Bajc, who'd prefer to remain somewhat anonymous, but who was kind enough to share this picture of Piran in the sunshine.
It shows a view of Tartini Square, which, you may be surprised to learn, was once part of the sea, as shown here in some images of the history of the place.
