It’s a shot taken in Bled, captures and kindly shared by Dennis Stever, a professional travel and landscape photographer, who writes of it as follows:
Slovenian sunrise. It was a cold November morning. I can remember lying in bed, with my alarm going off at 4:30am. I didn’t want to leave the comforts of my hotel, to venture out into the subzero morning. The visibility looked poor, I could see clouds and thick fog through a crack in the blinds. Thankfully, my half-awake mind made a decision to gather all the warmest clothes I had and head out to the trail head. After a short but steep hike, I found myself here. For a few fleeting moments the sun passed through a part in the clouds and illuminated the sky. A moment I will never forget.
