This week’s photo shows the crocuses growing on Velika Planina (aka Big Pasture Plateau), and was taken by Jasna Dimec, who you can follow on Instagram.
The flowers are spring crocuses (Crocus vernus), native to the Alps, Pyrenees, and Balkans, and they start to appear each spring as the snows melt, thus making this scene an annual delight to visitors, photographers, and all those who see the latters’ work.
